First remade vintage dress!

This is my first attempt to remake vintage clothing.  I turned a vintage long skirt and tunic into a gold and silver sparkly mini-dress.  I am lucky enough to have a treasure trove of vintage pieces that belonged to my grandmother.  I found a tunic and long skirt of hers and decided to turn them into a mini-dress to wear to a wedding.  I cut off the bottom of the skirt, so that I could keep the existing hem.  I then hand-sewed it to the silver trim on the tunic, and now I have a one-of-a-kind dress.

  1. It looks great, so much more wearable & modern!
Stopping by from BlogFrog to say hi!

  2. Thanks so much! It was fun to make and even made it through the washer a few times already!
